the event agenda is pretty interesting actually, although i probably won't attend it because of the dress code - band uniforms and/or "futuristic" attire are suggested (although my closet would certainly allow me to handle the "any out-of-style" alternative).
I just flash to Marty McFly looking at everyone at the formal in Back To The Future and can't get past it.
i'm sure your invite was an encrypted file that the mail servers of your work didn't understand.

As one who always longed to be "cool" and never made it, who was more student than athlete, but who never achieved Geek status, sadly I was, and forever will be, nerd. But I understand both. got one son who is even more nerd than I ever can hope to be, and another who is truly Geek: I can still picture him sitting at the dining room table with his study group having a discussion about some theory related to a higher mathematical problem and being in his glory. The fact that only he and one other kid were the only two out of the whole group who even had a clue what the two of them were talking about, and the others were all in the top 10 in the class rankings, kinda confirmed for me that I was out of my league with this one....
